In order for you to enjoy the event to the full extent you need to read and fully understand the Final Instructions and FAQs listed below. These will be updated based on feedback from runners and if any conditions are imposed upon the event by authorities. Check back regularly to ensure you have the latest information.

All runners must have a working mobile phone, contantly switched on, some reflective clothing for the night and must be worn on the road section after checkpoint 8, Foxhill, a warm piece of clothing to be carried when leaving Goring, checkpoint 5. Also two torches, a headtorch and hand torch is best. These torches are to be carried in the first half as often runners under estimate the time it will take to reach half way.
Major engineering works are affecting trains from London Euston to Tring. Should you be travelling by train make sure your journey is not affected by engineering works

These numbers are for emergencies only and to inform the organisers of retirements and other significant information about runners.
Support crews are not to call these numbers to ask for directions.
No, it is not possible to change your start time past the 4th August 2017.
About the size of a normal gym bag, a medium sized bag you'd normally carry some footwear and a change of clothes in.

Email email@example.com with the name and location of your hotel. Ensure you receive a confirmation email as this will confirm your collection time. Local hotels are Tring and surrounding areas. Stoke Manderville and Aylesbury are not local.

- These are to be carried in the first half as often runners under estimate the time it will take to reach half way.
- During the hours of darkness you will need one torch whilst you change batteries in the other.
No adivsable, be sure you can make it to the next checkpoint before leaving your current one. Checkpoints will close once all runners are accounted for. The checkpoint may close behind you and before the stated time.

The last minibus will drive away at 11:30 exactly. Be aware though that the last registration is 11:30. This minibus is to take in to account any trains running late. The minibus staff will call control and inform them you are late but will still make the start.
